What inspired you to start in real estate and how did you motivate yourself to keep going?
I used to watch HGTV for 5 hours a day and fell in love with real estate, design, and architecture. Initially it was about the homes, but later became about changing people’s lives. Nothing feels better than handing a family keys to their first home.
Comparing your business from back then to now, what has been the main thing that allowed you to expand your business?
My network & social media presence.
What’s the most profitable aspect of your business, why do you think this is and how can others apply this to what they are doing?
CLOSING !! #ABC
When did you realize you were successful/made it and how did you feel/celebrate?
I don’t think you ever “make it” in real estate. There’s always more work to do!
Looking back, what could you have done sooner to get to that point quicker?
Surround yourself with closers!
What should other real estate entrepreneurs reading this be focusing on to expand their own business?
Building their brand and closing as much as possible. No deal is too big or too small. Don’t worry about the money: work hard, become an expert, and the money will follow.
How has social media and online marketing affected your real estate business? How much more success have you had now after implementing social media and online marketing efforts?
I have stablished myself and my brand through social media. If you are not making this a focus, you better get started.
How did you build your team?
One agent at a time. Agents want opportunity and to be around other success agents.
How did you become a good leader?
Becoming a good leader is daily practice. I read a lot and listen to podcasts always bettering my skills as a leader.
Did You Experience Failures? If So, What Did You Learn From Them?
Ummmmm in real estate, happens weekly! You fall? You get up and keep fighting.
What do you consider the main differences between those people who have been successful in your industry and those who have failed?
Some people are hungry and have a “by any means” mindset so failure is not an option in any industry.
What’s Your Approach To Marketing?
I create all my own content and do my own marketing so it stays authentic to me. I keep it fresh and different by showing my real life and not just real estate posts.
