What inspired you to start in real estate and how did you motivate yourself to keep going?

 

Being a wife and mother of 2 small kids, I am at the point in my life where I need the flexibility, and a real estate career gives me that. The possibilities are endless as a real estate agent. The harder I work, the more money I make. Honestly though, it’s not the money I’m after it’s FREEDOM

Comparing your business from back then to now, what has been the main thing that allowed you to expand your business?

 

Consistency helped me expand my business. We all struggle time to time. There are those who give up and there are those who continue. I continued, I got better and I’m still learning everyday. Never stop learning and never quit.
Every time I wanted to quit, I thought about why I started!

Looking back, what could you have done sooner to get to that point quicker?

 

When I first started my real estate career, any buyer who wanted to see homes I took them. Literally picked them up and drove them from house to house all over LA. I even took them to lunch. Then when it came to the process of getting an approval for their loan, it was a major FAIL. I wasted my time and money. A majority of people have a million dollar taste with a $300k budget. (Even Celebrities)

Point is, I should have asked for PRE-APPROVAL letters before showing them anything. Never assume they are Pre-Approved.

 


 

How has social media and online marketing affected your real estate business? How much more success have you had now after implementing social media and online marketing efforts?

 

Social media took my business to the next level. Everyone wants to work with an experienced real estate agent. The more I posted my real estate career accomplishments, the more clients I got.
