What inspired you to start in real estate and how did you motivate yourself to keep going?
I was inspired because I love connecting with people, and honestly, my job is the absolute best because I get to meet and help people from all walks of life.
Comparing your business from back then to now, what has been the main thing that allowed you to expand your business?
The main thing that helped me expand my business was social media. The power of social media is amazing and it is the way of the future.
What’s the most profitable aspect of your business, why do you think this is and how can others apply this to what they are doing?
The most profitable aspect is social media and I’m one of the very few realtors that is also an influencer.
When did you realize you were successful/made it and how did you feel/celebrate?
When Property Spark named me the #1 realtor for Houston and Texas. Thank you!
Looking back, what could you have done sooner to get to that point quicker?
Absolutely nothing. I’m right where I’m supposed to be and I don’t regret any decisions I’ve made to get here.
What should other real estate entrepreneurs reading this be focusing on to expand their own business?
Real estate entrepreneurs should definitely be focusing on social media and building an online presence. Now more than ever, this is so important especially during these Covid times.
How has social media and online marketing affected your real estate business? How much more success have you had now after implementing social media and online marketing efforts?
Social media and online marketing is the core of my business. About 90% of my business comes directly from this platform and it’s truly incredible because it’s free!I built my team by recruiting via social media. There were no other means of marketing that I did to recruit agents.
How did you build your team?
I built my team by recruiting via social media. There were no other means of marketing that I did to recruit agents.
How did you become a good leader?
I became a good leader because I actually care about people and want them to succeed. People can feel when you are genuine and when there’s more than money involved. I love seeing people live their best life and overcome obstacles to become their best selves.
Did You Experience Failures? If So, What Did You Learn From Them?
Of course I’ve experienced failures. You don’t take risks if you’ve never experienced failure, and taking risks is an ingredient to become successful. I’ve learned that the best thing to do is pick yourself back up and keep going.
What do you consider the main differences between those people who have been successful in your industry and those who have failed?
It’s definitely consistency. You’re not gonna see results right away but you have to keep on doing the actions.
What’s Your Approach To Marketing?
My approach to marketing is that it needs to be innovative and out of the box. No one wants to see the same thing from every realtor, and I pride myself in being creative and different.
